Attention All State

Employees!

The Civil  Service  Commission
is currently considering
a proposal to change
the state employee pay rules!

The proposed plan under consideration will decrease the 4% merit increase to
up to 3% if we “Meet Requirements.” This is a decrease of 1% – 3%.

The proposed plan grants up to 5% for “Exceeds Requirements” and up to 6% for “Outstanding Performance”.

We are requesting that “Meet Requirements” rating be approved a 4% merit increase, “Exceeds Requirements” be approved a 5% merit increase and “Outstanding” be approved a 6% merit increase.

ALL State Employees are urged to come to the Claiborne Building on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 to voice your opposition to the proposal to eliminate the four percent merit–based pay system
When – Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. (some comments may be allowed)
(The Civil Service Commission may consider on whether or not to adopt the proposed changes on December 9th .)
Where – Claiborne Building, 1201 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802-5243
You are urged to email or call the Civil Service Commission to voice your opposition to the proposed changes.
